Worship at the Park was an event sponsored by my church, crosspoint.la. My task was to create a promotional campaign and general brand for the event. I wanted this to reflect our community seeing that this whole event is for the community not just for the church. In doing that, I looked at the character of Pasadena, CA and the people who live there. The majority of people are either college or middle aged, and the city (especially Old Town Pas) is full of this warm, vintage vibe that makes it feel like any picture should be taken on film. So I decided to give it this whole retro spin with polaroid images, cassette tapes, film, and that classic humanist type style.
