About the time I made this, I was just hooked on Aaron Draplin and Ben Howes style, so this was my own spin on what they do. I had this picture stuck in my head from a recent trip to Portland of this view of a snow capped Mt. Hood towering over Trillium Lake leaving it's relection in the ripple of the water. I sat down with my Field Notes and just began punching out ideas of shape, how the thick lines would work together, how thick the lines would be, and colors until something stuck. Then I got Illustrator running, put this together, and uploaded it to Cotton Bureau.
